Marie-Claude Beauchamp

Marie-Claude Beauchamp is well known by both Canadian and European broadcasters who have crossed her path over the years either as an international distributor, or over the past fifteen years as an Executive Producer/Producer with over 500 episodes of television totalling almost 200 hours of programming to her credit. Shows like: Kitty Cats which sold to forty countries, Chicken Minute sold to fifty-two countries, Anna Banana which sold to over twenty countries, Back to Sherwood, Pig City, Galidor which was produced in association with LEGO at a budget of 25M$ dollars, and 11 Somerset.  A few years ago she produced the 3D animated feature

film Pinocchio P3K. She also produced Anne Wheeler’s feature film The Edge of Madness. Over the years she has developed and produced programs for all Canadian Broadcasters as well as foreign broadcasters such as:  TLC (USA), Fox Family (USA), Fox Network (USA), ZDF (Germany), Pro Sieben (Germany), Channel 5 (UK), ITV (UK), BBC (UK), RTL (Belgium), Fox Kids Europe,  Fox Kids France, France 2, Canal J, la 5ième, etc. 


Normand Thauvette

Normand Thauvette is known by about everyone working in media in Quebec. He began his career at the Royal Bank where he developed the first interim financing system for Quebec productions. In the space of four years, Normand’s system of financing help made the industry prosper, and producers could put their energies into producing rather than worrying about how to cover the crew’s next pay cheques. He moved to Telefilm and for four years was in charge of the Quebec Television and Multimedia Department. He then had a brief tenure as the Director au Fonds d’Investissement de la Culture et des Communications (FICC). From 2002 to 2006, he was Vice-President of Galafilm. 



Paul Risacher

Paul Risacher combines the talents and qualities of a screenwriter, a director and a creative producer all in one person. He began his media career at the CBC where he developed and produced the mini-series Empire, the English adaptation of La Sagouine as well as a bio-pic of Jean Drapeau. He moved to the private sector where he has worked for more than fifteen years. Early on he worked with Marie-Claude; he developed and wrote much of Back to Sherwood, he created Anna Banana, and developed and wrote The Big Garage. He is also co-creator of Whimzie’s House and developed the sit-com Radio Active while working at TeleAction. Throughout his six years at TeleAction as head of development, he was in charge of the creative aspects of the mini-series René Lévesque, Il Duce Canadese, The Last Chapter and The Oka Crisis, all of which were seen on CBC, and created the teen sit-com Fries with That broadcast on YTV. His creative talents combined with his production knowledge make him the creative pillar of CarpeDiem.
